Welcome to Degree Show on Mars, LJMU BA Fine Art's 2020 Degree show. The show is
multiverse, featuring a landing page on the Gale Crator on Mars, a 3D walkthrough of an exhibition, Don't Throw Sones in Glass Houses, curated and run by the students in March, just prior to lockdown, and new work made during and in response to lockdown and the pandemic, and a live party on Mars.
Here we have a guide to the show, as a series of videos, selectors choices, along with all the artist websites to explore.
A Tour of the Gale Crater on Mars where the show starts. Each graduating artist has chosen or made an object to represent them and their art practice. You can click on the object to see the artist's work.
A video documenting the process of using the wormholes to teleport from the objects on Mars to the work of each artist in the "Don't Throw Stones in Glass Houses" exhibition. The exhibited work in the exhibition then acts as a portal to the student's current work, made in lockdown, for this exhibition.
